Rutherglen Corowa Ballooning Experience

Our Rutherglen Corowa Flights

Drift with the breeze and enjoy a unique bird’s-eye view of Rutherglen Vineyards, Corowa, North of the Murray farmland, the ancient river forests, and – depending on the breeze – local small towns, such as Mulwala and Howlong.

We meet at Caffeine N Machine Café and Bakery, 62-64 Main Street Rutherglen Victoria.

Enjoy a coffee with your Pilot and Crew while we prepare your flight documents.

After a short briefing by your pilot, we transport you to our anticipated launch site.

Many of our local Vineyards and farms allow us to launch and land our balloons on their paddocks.

On the launch site you will be invited to assist with the inflation of the balloon, or you may take photos, and relax and observe the inflation process if you wish.

Be prepared to be quietly amazed as your balloon finally stands up, ready for flight.

Once our balloon is inflated, your crew will ask you to climb aboard, your pilot will give you a final briefing, and you gently lift off. As the morning mist clears and the sun rises, you’ll climb up above the tree line as the best of the Murray region is revealed in all its early morning splendour.

Panoramic views of the Rutherglen Wine Region and the natural riverine landscape unfold. Unforgettable.

The views change everyday!

Our Pilots love flying here in the Rutherglen Corowa area because of the wide open spaces, blue skies and friendly farms to land on.

Bring your passport – you might even fly interstate across the mighty Murray River!

Maybe spend 45/60 minutes in the air to enjoy your ballooning adventure and the views.

Land in a friendly farmers paddock to meet our ground crew, pack your balloon and return to Caffeine N Machine Cafe for a  traditional balloon blessing and breakfast.

After your flight leave time to enjoy fresh local produce and sample a few of your favourite wine varieties!  This region is famous for its big Reds and Fortifieds, but many young winemakers have introduced more subtle European styles over the past few years.

The North of the Murray and the Rutherglen Wine Region has a rich vineyard and farming history dating back to the goldrush days of the mid 1800’s. Many of our Vineyards are still 5/6/7 generation family owned and operated.

Explore our region and you will find fresh produce. Olive Farms, and try the Chocolates and Whiskey!

Check your GPS and road conditions. Its around 2hr 50min from the Melbourne Metropolitan Ring Road, and an easy 30/40 minute drive from Yarrawonga and Mulwala. Maybe stay a night or two close by in Corowa or Rutherglen before your adventure! A great range of accomodations in the area for all budgets.

We look forward to seeing you.
